Essay Writing - Get These Essay Topic Ideas

Essay Writing - Get These Essay Topic IdeasThe most important essay of your life is the one that you will write to tell your professor what you want to be known for in the future. You need to ensure that you get the right topic, and that you learn the proper way to present your ideas. It's usually easy to get the right essay topics, but very difficult to avoid common ground essay topics. There are two kinds of topics: the ones that look great on the surface, and the ones that might look good on the surface, but are terribly difficult to write. It's not necessarily the quality of the essay that counts, but its depth. Read this article for tips on writing effective essays that will pass muster.I recommend you go with the easiest subject you can think of to start with. If it's not going to take more than one paragraph, then just start with a small essay about it. Even if it's something that you'll have to think about in detail in the future, it will certainly give you a fresh perspective . If you were born on the same day as that subject, you might want to pick a topic that will be interesting to you for many years. You should be asking yourself a question: What would you like to say about this subject? This will determine the type of topic you choose. A unique idea or observation will be great; an article written from the perspective of a person who has never thought about that subject might seem more personal. Choose one that is a little outside of the box, and one that you really believe in.Once you've settled on your topic, go back and look at your essay. Is it exactly what you intended? Is it something you really want to write? Think about your style; is it something you want to remember? These are all big factors in how well you do with writing.Theme-Choose a single topic for your essay, and go with it throughout. Let it be the focal point of your essay. For example, maybe you wanted to write about a possible career path for women in the sciences. In this case, the topic would be something you want to discuss over again. It's a useful tool for giving you direction and helps you keep things focused on the subject.Remember that when you use common ground essay topics, you're not simply throwing a bunch of topics into one large essay. You're taking them one topic at a time and making a step-by-step strategy to try to uncover the theme that you want to talk about. Themes should be exciting and interesting. If you've got a theme, you'll have much more of a chance of writing a good essay.

The Women Warriors That Defied The Expectations And Social...

Amazons, the women warriors that defied the expectations and social structures of the patriarchal world of antiquity. These women left a strong impact on Greece, and the tribe was often featured in Greek mythology and artwork. Dolls were crafted in the Amazons’ likeness, and given to young girls as toys;[1] Male lovers used artwork featuring Amazons as gifts for one another; there are over five-hundred Grecian vases that portray Amazons, and often in combat with Greek heroes.[2] Many classicist historians argue that Amazons were merely Grecian creations; their purpose was to entertain and amuse the Greeks through art and storytelling, along with establish Greece’s superiority from their patriarchal society.[3] While it is most likely true†¦show more content†¦This paper is meant to examine the Amazons’ true lifestyle as a warrior beyond Greek mythology, including their true sexual natures and desire for companionship. To begin this study, we must first discuss those of which the Amazons are based on, the Scythian women. Located northeast of Greece was the Scythian homeland, land that is now modern day Russia and south-eastern Europe. It was there that many nomadic tribes lived. These people learned how to ride horseback at a young age, and spent their entire lives traveling with their respective tribes. Men and women lived as equals, wore trousers, covered themselves with tattoos, and participated in archery. Greece was very close to Scythian nomads that lived near the Black Sea. Their land was a â€Å"boundless, uncultivated sweep,† compared to Greece which itself was littered with small towns and farmland. Also, the idea of a woman that found herself equal to a man was unfamiliar to the Greeks. Understandably, the Greeks felt threatened by such a lifestyle, but they were also fascinated. Strong, ferocious women that rode horseback and participated in combat were otherworldly and almost un real. Early Grecian storytelling surrounding Amazons originally featured male Scythian allies, who would follow the Amazons into battle. In these

Whether you must make your own mutual fund selections for your 401(K) or employer sponsored retirement plan, or use a professional investment advisor for other types of investment accounts, mutual funds can†¦show more content†¦Closed-end funds have a fixed number of shares issued to the public. If you want to purchase a piece of the fund, you have to purchase an existing share from a shareholder that is selling. Open-end funds have an unlimited number of shares. If you want to purchase a piece of the fund, the fund creates a new share and sells it to you. There are significantly more open-end funds than there are closed-end funds. Closed end funds can trade at values that are above or below their NAV, while open end funds only trade at their end of day NAV. Mutual Fund Research - Do Your Homework Expenses All mutual funds have expenses. Some funds expenses are low while other funds have very high expenses. These include everything from the advisory fee paid the fund manager to administrative costs like printing and postage. With a little bit of homework, you can determine a fund s expenses before you invest. This is important because those expenses can have a dramatic effect on your investment returns. The three expenses you should be aware of are loads, redemption fees and operating expenses. Loads are commissions or fees that can be charged either when you buy or sell a mutual fund. A front-end load (usually associated with class A shares) can be up to 8.5% of your investment. A back-end load (usually called redemption fees, are associated with class B shares) can also be quite high, but reduces over the years, the longer you keep your investment in the fund.Show MoreRelatedStephen P. My Life Its Just Me Essay Example For Students

My Life Its Just Me Essay 18 years ago, I was born into the Masters’ family. I had a wonderful mom and the best dad in the world. My dad was honestly my first love; I was the apple of his eye. It sounds weird, but if you would’ve seen how close he and I were, you would know where I was coming from with what I was trying to say. I wasn’t the only one who fell in love with my dad. My Mom did too. I always loved to watch them get along, and when they fought, it wasn’t for long. They were in love, and that love made me, and they loved me as much as they loved each other. My dad and I did so much together while mom was at work. It’s the type of relationship that could honestly make a lot of people jealous. He was not, JUST my father. He was also my best friend. I could joke around with him about anything, he was always there to make me laugh and he always made me feel like I was the most important thing to him in the world. I mean being his ONLY daughter, of course I was, but he always gave his attention to my mom too. No one was ever left out in my house. I can’t tell you how many memories we had in that house. But it felt like I only had a short time with my dad, he left on March 4, 2006. I was only 10, but because I couldn’t really remember any memories from when I was a baby, it felt like I only spent about 5 years with him. At first I was so sad, and heart broken, because I had just lost my best friend. After a while, I got so angry and selfish, I would occasionally think â€Å"Why? Why did you abandon me and my mom? We both need you, I know I need you, you were my first friend, and the best thing that has ever happened to me. † The years after that were basically hell. I was always angry, and depressed. I didn’t know what to think. I started acting out with my mom, I stopped listening, and I stopped caring. As I grew older, I rebelled more and more each and every day. On a good day, my mom and I would get along, and I was starting to pick myself up and get back to being me, but then someone new came into the picture, and when that happened, all I could think was my mom just abandoned her love for my dad and moved on to someone else. I was young, I wanted my dad back, and I wasn’t ready for someone new to be in the picture. I made myself look like a jackass for so long because of my anger. Soon enough, I got a long with my mom’s new boyfriend, Eric. He and I would basically act like siblings. We would wrestle, joke around, pull pranks on each other, and sometimes my mom. We got yelled at so much when we did that, but it was funny as hell. My time with my mom was longer than with my dad. But it feels like I spent more time arguing with my mom and rebelling than actually spending time with her. 18 years was a good run, but it wasn’t good enough, because mom passed away on June 16, 2014, and once again I was back to being angry at the world and feeling abandoned. I was just so pissed and depressed that I did so much to push everyone away from me. I shut people out, I did so much to seclude myself from everyone. Then I started to regret it, I started to regret everything that I have ever done in my life to anything and anyone. Because of everything that happened over the course of 18 years, I’ve lost friends, gained some, but still find ways of pushing them away. I will always regret everything. The biggest thing I regret is being selfish and thinking my parents abandoned me when they didn’t. It’s me who makes everyone else feel abandoned. I just have a fear of being alone and I’ve made myself scared and paranoid. Have I been abandoned? Yes, many times by people who don’t want to take the time to know why I am so needy. Will I get abandoned again?
